Ok, so I haven't carved a pumpkin in a long time, but I am going to carve one this year. I want to do something more original than the creations we used to make as children. Does anyone have any good ideas?

Remember those lite brite toys from childhood (or are you that much younger than me?) - I've seen pumpkins in Martha Stewart's mag. that you drill holes in the select pattern and then poke the lights through from the inside with a string of lights. Then just plug them in and see your design (no candles necessary, and the great part is that you get to drill a pumpkin!).

Last year I saw a pumpkin carved to look like a gluteus maximus. I don't have a picture so you will have to figure out how do the actual carving.
Prime
obscene pumpkins were the first thing that popped into my mind as well.
I made one last year. I made a regular face with flaming features like fire drop eyes.
Other ideas, carve a beautiful landscape, an evening on the beach with moon stars and palm trees
