A press photographer spotted Adeline playing in the pumpkins and took some pictures of her. I'll let you know if she gets published.
I think these are the same exact pumpkins I carved last year and possibly the year before. I need to get a little more creative next time. Ashley did a good job with the seeds this time around, though. They are very tasty.
Footage is on youtube.

U2 (first point ever!) great song
Cute stuff, I hope I get the chance to carve a pumpkin this year. I think I have issues with paying for a pumpkin... however, Meijer has a slew of them on display right now. I could bike over and support the local economy at a reasonable price.
I would like to stand up for my fellow younger sister, Adeline, and say she seems relatively under represented in the photos and videos! Well, at least with good close ups, I need some good ones to show off to my friends for bragging purposes, maybe a newspaper clipping will do. I do really like the shot of the kids looking at each other.
Point to Mattie!
Adeline is pretty well represented in the blog. There have been entire posts dedicated just to her. I would have put her in the pumpkin videos, but she was cranky and had to go to bed. Another trait that Mattie and Adeline share!
Mattie: I'll send you some good shots of Adeline.
Actually, I think mattie is more like you Ben: She can be happy all night even if she is tired but don't talk to her for at lest 1 hour after she wakes up. Remember you 15 minutes after the nap rule?
Ohhh, the deafening silence of the car ride to school. Such an unpeaceful silence.
So why do you all think I was in such a hurry to get you out the door in the morning???
And why do you think Dad tried to be long gone before you got up?
I was 17 years old! Give me a break! These days I'm almost always the first one out of bed in my house. Even on weekends.
The only rule I have now is: no bad news until at least a half hour after I get home. I need time to decompress.
Wait, I thought Dad got up early so he could actually have some time in the bathroom rather than competing with his four children...at least that is what HE said. Ben, I hear what you are saying, decompression is much needed.
I left early to avoid the chaos of four children getting ready for school. Now I leave early to accomplish something at the office before the chaos at my office that begins at 7:30. Someday when I retire I will get up early because I won't be able to sleep. The circle of life.
