This Critter was just looking at us as we hiked on a trail not far from the house. On the way home we saw another Elk with a large rack rummaging in someone's yard down the mountain a little from Ben and Ashley's house....

This is where Randy Ben and I turned around 5(?) years ago during a blizzard. Glad we didn't continue. That would have been a long way to fall if we slipped on snow-covered rocks. Much nicer trip this time....
