Baby on Board

I realized I haven't really posted any pictures of us with my growing belly. This first one is last night bowling. Reuben is showing more than me....
This was last week at my work Christmas party at the J.W. Marriott. It was a fun night!

This was a few weeks ago at approximately midnight after the Breakthrough training that I volunteered at and Reuben participated in. We were pretty sleep-deprived.
Friday night we hosted a small Christmas party with some of our good friends, so this is us that night.

Some recent pictures...

I just put up my hammock that I haven't got to sit in for the last 4 years. I forgot how comfy it was. Now I just need some wireless internet and I can watch movies in my hammock! I love snow days.

It Works!

Sam already told you the story..... But in my defense, I was nowhere near the barn! Pretty funny, though... And, I'm going to have to get Grandpa Maier on the ski idea, although Grandpa Sportel is the one with actual experience skiing behind machines! ;-)

... And a few from our cold trip to the beach. It was very nice there. High waves, not too many people...

OK, This one is a little scary, I realize... but deal with it ;-)

Mom

Happy Birthday Mom!

I believe you are now somewhere around 46. But you might have said something about starting to go up again. I don't know anymore... Hope you bought something nice yesterday!

blowing snow

Before mom and dad post the picture, I just need to tell you it was quite humorous to watch their first snow-blowing experience. The machine can move itself but more often it will take someone with it. At first I saw dad skiing behind it on the cement part of the driveway. Then mom couldn't stop it and came within a few inches to the barn. I am convinced after trying it myself that you should strap on some skis and let it pull you around the driveway.

Oh, and apparently our house is a ski resort for the neighborhood children. They just started showing up. First there was one, then three, now I count five.
