Summer Fun
These pictures are all out of order, but it's been forever since we posted on here and I thought I'd post some from the last few months! Last week we were at Ludington State Park with our friends, which was a lot of fun. Alena did great overall also! The pictures above and the next few below are from this trip.
Alena loves to hike! We went on a beautiful hike around Lost Lake.
Alena and Jadyn (Katie & Matt's daughter) playing in their Bumbos.
For our anniversary, we had our first night together away from Alena and we went up to Shelley Lake. It was very peaceful up there and the kayaking was great!
Alena started sitting up at 5 1/2 months! She also is pretty good at standing up holding onto something, even with just one arm for a little bit sometimes!
Going back to the MN weekend.... I needed to post a picture of the cousins.
The rest of the pictures are a few from our trip in the Traverse City area that we went on with my family at the beginning of August for my parents' 30th anniversary.
Morsels coffee shop in downtown Traverse is amazing! Alena is going for the coffee already...
On a short hike at Interlochen State Park
Wine tasting at Chateau Chantal.
Reuben and Alena at the house we stayed at for the week on Silver Lake (the one by Traverse City), about to go swimming!
It's been a very busy, but fun summer! Reuben started school today, so it's back into the routine again. We're excited to see everyone in less than 2 weeks at Mattie and Spencer's wedding!

A few pictures from the weekend
The kids waiting for a snack at a local restaurant.
Ashley carrying Evie back to the house after our walk to the farmer's market for some sweet corn.
Checking out the goods at the market. I hear buying locally is good for the environment. Way to go Sportel family!
Also good for the environment: LCD Television. Here's the new one, and yes, it is bigger than Sam's TV.

Hello Wisconsin
We have an internet connection again so here's some pictures from our recent move. I'm uploading some recent videos of the kids to youtube right now as well.
One of our last meals at the apartment.
Sam and Katie came and helped out that first night.
Avery fishing for Koi in our pond
As tradition dictates, we slept on the living room floor the first night.
