After two days of photographing families in this beautiful park, I knew exactly where and when I wanted to photograph Ashley and Ben and family. The light was perfect... as were the subjects. Had to share!
The first picture is definitely my favorite. I had to laugh at the picture where everyone is standing at the edge of the water look out and Ben looks like a matador. I assume he was skipping stones, but I don't know, maybe Ben was trying a new patriarchal look.
I was skipping stones. I think that looks suggests strength and leadership. Matador is good too.
The kids are definately getting big. Just wait until you hear Adeline talk. She was talking yesterday about much she missed her grandpa and almost moved mom to tears. Avery is at the size now where I cower in fear as he runs at me when I come home.

Ben, you should use that as a teachable moment for Avery: start teaching him proper tackle form when you walk through the door!
