I just wanted to tell my siblings that I'll be observing Earth Day this week by throwing some plastic in the garbage and leaving my incandescant lights on all night. I might even walk off the trail and step on some foliage. Take that, nature!
If it feels a little warmer this summer, you'll have me to thank.

...Beautiful here, too, for now.
Ben, Trying to ruffle a few feathers, are we?
Did you kids have to throw out some of your (#7) baby bottles?
Why stop there Ben? You can cut down all your trees and plant a lawn then water it continuously all summer while you hunt eagles and drive your car to your mailbox to get the mail... Maybe then you'd be getting somewhere.
I meant, feeling nicer here already (not too).
I'm sure if we all put our heads together we can really speed the process up.
Ben, you will be happy to know I cut down our scotch pine tree on Saturday in honor of Earth Day. It's ironic in a way because that was a seedling one of you kids brought home from school for Earth Day.
Actually I cut it down because it was producing about a thousand pine cones per year and I'm getting too old to keep raking those things on a weekly basis.
Good job, Dad. I like how you are thinking.
Mom, what are #7 bottles?
Sam, those were some good anti-environmental ideas, but they sound like a lot of work. I like to let my laziness and nature destroying tendencies work in tandem.
